Will the real WYSIWYG editor please stand up?

What is WYSIWYG?
What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) is an important fundament for your employees to do fast and cost efficient web content management (WCM). The idea behind the WYSIWYG concept is that web pages, in the editor in which they are created, look identical to the pages as they are seen by the visitors of your web pages.

What is WYSIWYG according to the current generation of WCM products?
Lots of WCM products prentend to use WYSIWYG in their content creation process. This however is only partly true. The current generation of WCM tools supports only a restricted variant of WYSIWYG. The web editor in which you are working mostly only offers an overview of the current text paragraph/block you are editing but lacks to show the whole page context in which this paragraph or block is placed. The table below shows an overview of what we mean with this.

What is WYSIWYG according to Shazzoo?
Shazzoo offers what we call 100% WYSIWYG. Shazzoo is unique because it shows the full context of a page when editing content in the web editor. Because we are displaying the graphic layout, navigaton and other layout parts, you directy see how context is placed in your page. Next to adding the layout to the editor, context sensitive components allow users to book quick wins as in no-time content can be added to a page in an intuitive way.

See for yourself
Below we show an overview of some well known WCM products. The table shows for each product how a page looks when editing in the browser and how the same page looks to the end user.
You will notice that Shazzoo is the only WCM product in which the page in the editor and the page as the visitors see when visiting your site, look exactly the same.
This is what we call 100% WYSIWYG en that is one of the things which make Shazzoo 'Next generation web content management'.
