Shazzoo is fully What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) making it as easy to create web pages as documents in MS Word. The unique feature Shazzoo offers is that you have all context (Site navigation, layout, columns) in the web editor, where you create and change your web pages. Shazzoo offers the maximum WYSIWYG experience.
Column format and publishing info
Shazzoo supports several column formats. for example you can have two equal, one big, or four small columns. These column formats are NOT part of the Shazzoo design. They are configured in the template you use for your website. So you can have a Shazzoo website with ten different column formats and another Shazzoo website with only two different column formats.
For new web pages a default column format is configured. To select another column format:
- Move your mouse to the zone above the columns.
- Click the right mouse button.
- The Article context menu appears.
- Click on Properties article.
- A dialog appears with properties of the article.
- With the property Column format you can switch to another column format.
- Select another column format and click Ok.
- Notice the different column format in your web page.
Content in a specific column remains in that column, regardless whether the column is displayed or not.
Following properties can be displayed on web pages:
- Author
- Page owner
- Date last edited
- Date published
- Date page expires
These properties can be displayed at the botom in every column.
For new web pages a default property display can be configured. To have other properties displayed:
- Move your mouse to the topzone of the applicable column.
- Click the right mouse button.
- The Column context menu appears.
- Click on Properties column.
- A dialog appears with properties of the column.
- Select Yes for the properties you want to display and click Ok.
- Notice the properties are displayed at the bottom of the applicable column.

Components
Shazzoo contains components. Components are pre-formatted blocks of content with static or dynamic content. Components can be customized to bring them in line with the template used for your website. Adding customized components is another possibility. We can supply your Shazzoo web content management system with unique tailor made components.
The title of your web page is a property which can be controlled in the properties section of web pages. You can display the title of your page anywhere you want in your web page.

The description component has no properties.
The list component is a powerful feature. You can use it to display a collection of related web pages in summarized format. Imagine you have seperate web pages for news topics. You put all those web pages in a list named News topics and use a different web page called News topics to display these news topics in summarized format based on the list News topics.
You can insert as many lists you want in a single web page:

A list of web pages can be controlled by a calendar. The list will only display web pages related to the specific date or month you select in the calendar. Each web page has a property called Publication date. The calendar uses this date to control the list.

A list of web pages can be controlled by a tag cloud. The list will only display web pages related to the specific tag you select in the tag cloud. Each web page has a property called Tags. The calendar uses this property to control the list.

A blog is divided in two parts. First of all there is a list of all comments made on your blog. The second part is a form where your visitors can post a reaction. For flexibillity purposes, Shazzoo contains two seperate components for both parts:
