You create web pages to publish any content on your website. Shazzoo is fully What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) making it is easy to create web pages.
To create a blank web page:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Click on the view action New - Page.
- Fill in a title for your new web page and click Ok.
- The new page opens in the web editor where you can add a diversity of content.

- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.
- The new web page is displayed in the view depending on the number of documents that are displayed.

Use stationeries for new web pages to start with predefined content. For information how to create stationeries, click here.
To create a web page based on a stationery:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Click on the view action New - Page from stationery.
- A picklist appears with all configured stationeries, click on the title to preview the stationery.
- Select a stationery and click Ok.
- Fill in a title for your new web page and click Ok.
- The new page opens in the web editor where you can add a diversity of content.

- The new web page is displayed in the view depending on the number of documents that are displayed.

To create a web page by copying an existing web page:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Select the web page you want to copy.
- Click on the view action New - Copy.
- Fill in a title and identifier for your new web page and click Ok.
- The new web page is displayed in the view depending on the number of documents that are displayed.

To create the same web page for alternative languages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Select the web page you want to copy.
- Click on the view action New - Other languages.
- Select the applicable languages and click Ok.
- Click on the view action Switch language and select one of the alternative languages you selected before.
- The new web page is displayed in the view depending on the number of documents that are displayed.

To create the same web page for all configured languages the page does not exist yet:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Select the web page you want to copy.
- Click on the view action New - All remaining languages.
- Select the applicable languages and click Ok.
- Click on the view action Switch language and select one of the alternative languages.
- The new web page is displayed in the view depending on the number of documents that are displayed.

Shazzoo offers a publishing cycle where pages are submitted by authors, approved or rejected by editors and published by publishers. Next table shows you the publishing cycle of a web page and the roles that are allowed to perform the action.

To preview selected web pages from the view:
- Select one or more web pages.
- Click on the view action Preview - Selected.
- All selected web pages open in a dedicated browser window in preview mode.
To preview when editing web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Edit your web page.
- Click on the form action Preview - Preview to preview the web page without the latest changes.
- Click on the form action Preview - Save and preview to preview the web page including the latest changes.
- Click on the form action Preview - Save, close, preview to preview the web page including the latest changes. The web page will be closed.
Deleted and archived pages contain a kind of watermark with the text Deleted and Archived if you preview them.
To preview selected web pages from the view:
- Select one or more web pages.
- Click on the view action Preview - Selected of selected languages.
- Select one or more alternative languages for which you want to preview the selected web pages.
- All selected web pages open in a dedicated browser window in preview mode in the selected languages.
If you're browsing your site and notice an error or a modification you want to make simply use the CTRL-M key combination to open the web page in the Shazzoo editor and do the modification.
You can delete web pages as follow:
- Select the web pages you want to delete.
- Click the view action Delete - Selected
or
Press Delete on your keyboard.
- A warning appears. It tells you that all related documents (versions, survey results and page comments) will be removed also.
- Click Ok to confirm the deletion.
- The applicable web pages are deleted.
Shazzoo works with soft deletions. This means that deleted document are moved to the recycle bin. From there you can restore them or delete them permanently.
Web pages that are in the recycle bin can still be previewed. However, they contain a kind of watermark with the text Deleted.
You can delete web pages plus all equivalent language web pages as follow:
- Select the web pages you want to delete.
- Click the view action Delete - Selected and related languages.
- A warning appears. It tells you that all related documents (versions, survey results and page comments) will be removed also.
- Click Ok to confirm the deletion.
- The applicable web pages are deleted.

- Click the view action Delete - All of selected languages.
- Select one or more languages and click Ok.
- The applicable web pages and reusable content blocks are deleted.

Shazzoo supports versioning for all your web pages. You can create several versions for a web page. Only one will be published on your website.
Each version has its own publishing cycle with its own workflow. When you publish a version the current published version of the web page will be withdrawn and the new published version becomes live.
To manage versions:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Click on the tab Versions.
- You see an embedded view showing the versions of this web page.
- The embedded view contains a set of specific view actions standing on the right of the form actions.
- Here you can create, edit, delete versions, change their properties, change their status and preview them.
You can insert a blog in a Shazzoo web page. The reactions your visitors leave behind can be controlled in the web page.
To manage blog reactions:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Click on the tab Comments.
- You see an embedded view showing the blog reactions related to blogs on this web page.
- The embedded view contains a set of specific view actions standing on the right of the form actions.
- Here you can edit and delete blog reactions.
You can insert a survey in a Shazzoo web page. The survey results your visitors leave behind can be controlled in the web page.
To manage survey results:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Click on the tab Survey results.
- You see an embedded view showing the survey results related to surveys on this web page.
- The embedded view contains a set of specific view actions standing on the right of the form actions.
- Here you can delete survey results or export them to a spreadsheet format.
